Element 2 Week 12:

I started working on some stained glass windows using some prompts in chatGPT to generate some images that I could alter and apply to a plain to give the impression of stained glass.

To give the impression of light coming through I added some point lights behind to give of the glowing affect as when applied to a translucent material it didn’t look correct.

I knew I wanted some censers and chandeliers after my work win E1 so i started on working on those.

I really loved this concept published by Corbax Studios for the Lords of The Fallen Game and chose to base my design on it. Using the skeletons I’ve used throughout my scene.

This combined with my chains and some texturing using alpha maps and emissive maps I was able to achieve a pretty nice final result.

I also worked on some set dressing assets like these vent chutes and pipes to replace the tracery on the walls by the reliquary as I felt it looked a bit dainty and lacklustre. Laura sent me one of the vents she had produced which I used on the end of my model and gave a really nice final affect combined with the smoke/steam particles.
